Check it Out!

Is it wrong to wish for the cold, well I think we're already there! For that matter where did the late summer go to, that which we were promised, come to think of it where did the summer go?  I'm hoping for a proper winter this year, I would like snow and really crisp, bright frosty days. Scarfs gloves etc. Better that than month after month of grey and drizzle.  Bring it on!! 

So this brings me on to coats, there are many to choose from but this week I've been looking at the classics which have been given a high-fashion twist for A/W ’17.  There are some fantastic textures and pops of colour out there, the biggest being the check, but bold colours are great as well. 

A classic lighter weight coat is great for slinging on when in the car and out shopping; is it just me but when you're in these shops you're boiling but bloody cold the moment you step out. 

My first few are bold check!!

The next four are your dog's-tooth-check which is everywhere, I just love the one from ASOS!

I'm loving the vibrant colours this year in coats.  Going to have to think carefully about this. I'd love a coloured coat but red/yellow is a no-go for me, so I'm thinking green or maybe even pink!  Not sure what the rest of the house will think of that one, but I have a rough idea...

The last four are scarfs to brighten up that black coat from last year.
