I haven’t posted a fashion blog for some months now, it must be before Georgie became ill. Let me fill you in there, as so many of you have been so lovely. I’m happy to report that the little minx is fully recovered and back to her usual sassy self. The tumour was completely removed and the surgery went without a hitch, which is obviously something to be incredibly grateful for. It was very large and had twisted on itself so that a lot of it had died, which meant that they couldn’t tell with absolute certainty that it was 100% benign. Because of that she is having two or three MRI scans and tests for a year for the next few years, belt-and-braces just to be sure everything remains A-ok. We have been very well looked after by Queens Medical Centre and their team. Wow. Some truly amazing people with incredible skills work in the NHS.

So, thank you again for all your messages over that time.

Now, FASHION! It’s a strange old time of year, sales are on, we are betwixt and between seasons. The weather, well what can I say, it’s been alright hasn’t it. Unbelievable would be another way of putting it! I just love the sun but with the building work and kitchen being done, we (me and Si) won’t be going away this year, so the weather is a serious bonus. Who knew Portugal was visiting us this year?!

Here I’ve put together some jumpsuits that can be worn now, or with a long or short sleeve t-shirt underneath to take us into to Autumn. I know some people shy away from the jumpsuit because of the ‘toilet issue’, and lets face it when we get to a certain age it only takes the sight of a toilet sign and you think you “better had” just in case!! But they are easy to wear, bit like a dress just chuck it on, dress it up with heels, or down for that matter with sandels or trainers.
