Max That Mini
Stella McCartney wore a faux leather looking maxi skirt for her launch of her 2017 Autumn / Winter collection. More significantly though I missed out on the Marks and Spencer black leather last year and I’m often trawling eBay for one (size 8 if anyone is thinking of selling :) ).
Over time, miniskirts have been replaced in fashion trends with midi and maxi skirts (mercifully). The restyle of skirt draws its inspiration from a variety of hippie touches that came about in the 60’s and the 70’s.
Whether you like prints, brighter colours or neutral, a maxi skirt is an ideal option going forward into winter - no need for tights which is great as you don’t have that static worry. Personally I hate that, put tights on and the bloody thing just sticks to your legs. You can dress it down, throw on a jumper, sweatshirt or long sleeve t-shirt, trainers and boots, or dress it up with heels and a silk blouse, or dare I say it something sparkly for Christmas! Yep, Christmas is looming, like it or not!
Here are a few of my favourites that are about at the moment.
