Jumpers

Let’s talk about jumpers.

They have become very en vogue, sexy even, some women can throw on a jumper and jeans and look amazing.  However this hasn’t always been the case.

Now, some things in the 80’s where cool; Pac Man, strawberry shortcake, Donkey Kong, Inspector Gadget, Dirty Dancing, Thriller, Hungry Hippo to name a few.  But let’s face it many, many things in the 80’s sucked.  Anyone who lived though this particular time will know what I’m talking about.  Now we come to one of the offenders in that category, the sweater!  Bright, garish, shapeless, thick nits bearing silly faces, fruit, or some other inane design.  Here are some, just to remind us. 

We are arguably living through more stylish times, with far more flattering cuts.  We also enjoy higher quality, luxurious wools such as cashmere, cotton, Merino wool and so on.  They look fantastic not just worn with jeans but also leather, sequin, silk...  Imagine a cashmere jumper worn with a silk skirt and hard-edge boots for example.  The options are endless.
